Child Abuse Prevention is the primary effort of all Exchange Clubs. The Waterloo Club is proud of the Family & Children's Council of Black Hawk County, one of the 76 Exchange Club sponsored child abuse prevention centers in the country.

• Scholarships 5 The students are evaluated by a criteria established by the National Exchange Club that emphasizes academic performance, community service work, participation in school activities and extra curricular involvement in the Student of the Month selection process. The selected students are recognized by the club for their accomplishment with a nice plaque and a $100 scholarship gift.

The club meets at 12:00 noon each Monday at the Elk's Club in Waterloo. Lunch is served and guests are always welcome.
Meetings feature speakers with topics of interest to the community and opportunities to network with others who share a common interest to enhance the quality of life in the Cedar Valley.
